Freedom in the making.

Martin Luther King Jr. was far beyond amazing. He stood for what he believed in and inspired many. He was a very determined man, even after he had been in jail over twenty times, stabbed and his house had been bombed. He was standing alone, but he was still standing strong.
King spent his entire life in the fight for full citizenship for African Americans and for rights for the poor and disadvantaged. Dr. King wanted to ensure freedom for all people, like it said in the Constitution. King wanted to make peace for all, no matter the race, gender, or religion.
Dr. King had many obstacles standing in the way of America achieving his dream. The main obstacle was rasism. Also, you would be judged by race, religon, gender, etc. People would judge others by there apperance. Although King never let that get in his way.
King suggested that we must develop a world perspective. He also stated, "The American dream will not become reality devoid of the larger dream of a world of brotherhood and peace and good will." The world we live is geographical and we are here to make it  spiritually one.
Dr. King has changed the mind of Americans for the better. He played a huge roll in American histoy, and always will. Through out the many years, the dream for America remains the same.
