Dr. King was a very considerate man, in 1963 he was nominated Man of The Year for a TIME magazine cover. He never cave up on what he wanted. He continued with his dreams to make the world a better place. Even after he was stabbed in the chest, his house was bombed, and he had numerous personal attacks. He kept going, he didn't give up on his dreams. So for that he a very, VERY respected man.
If I were to describe his American Dream in my own words I would have to say that he wanted equality, he wanted change. Not just a little change like, blacks are allowed on buses, no. He wanted everything to change, he wanted the same rights as others had, for everyone to be treated the same. If whites had a drinking fountain, he wanted to be able to walk up to that drinking fountain and take a drink without being arrested. He wanted to be able to get on a bus, and sit where he wanted to, not where he was told. He wanted to make the same amount of money and spend it on what he pleases. If he wanted to eat at a restaurant, he could. I cant describe his dream, but that's what I feel his dream would be like.
He was thrown in jail for standing up for what he believes in, the people who took him away thought he was wrong and his way of thinking was just a waste of time. While getting to achieve his dream, he hosted a bus boycott, the biggest boycott in history. The "blacks" had to walk everywhere they went, which made them tired. Or if some of them were lucky they could get a ride from a friend or family.
In my words I would have to say his way of making his dream a reality was, holding boycotts, making speech's. The one that got through to almost everyone was his "I Have A Dream" speech. It was so heartfelt, and inspiring. It described how they can and should make a change for the greater good for the future. If it weren't for him, I don't think much would have changed.
I learned from Martin Luther King Jr. that, If someone gave me respect and treated me nicely, do the same, Even when others are cruel, kill them with kindness, be the bigger person. He dreamed of a better tomorrow.

Martin Luther King was a very determined man who believed that all humans should be treated equally. He was a considerate person considering the fact that he did not want the children to protest in Birmingham,Alabama. I also think he's quite persistent because he went to jail for something willingly that he did not see as wrong. This is just my opinion of Martin Luther King.
This man was famous because of his courage to stand up against the government and the laws that were unequal to many,all African Americans. He is famous for many reasons but I think his "I have a dream" speech is one of the most favorite amongst society. His speech basically states that he wants all humans to be treated equally despite their skin color or race. Dr.King faced many obstacles in his way. Not many white men wanted to give black men power in society so they were hesitant to proceed with his dreams. I think they thought of him as dangerous because so many people were inspired by his speeches and just what he stood for. He was thrown in prison for nothing but standing up for his race in a peaceful protest. He was beaten,no doubt,for the same reasons. Not to mention the fact that he was assassinated. These are just some of the obstacles that stood in his way.
Im not really familiar with hi suggestions for society to make America a more equal place. But I do know that he wanted all the little black boys and little white girls to hold hands and move towards a better future together because nobody can honestly focus on a problem if their to focused on the color of the skins in their own country. I think he believed that there are more important problems that required our attention versus the attention of the color of ones skin.
In conclusion Dr.Martin Luther King just wanted a better community where he can go out and not be discriminated for something that he was merely born with. He wanted a better society and future for him and his children and many generations on. My hope for society is that the citizens of the united states can become more independent and become more involved in the governments actions instead of depending on them for a paycheck and a go to source when things get uncomfertable in their lives.

Dr.King was a vary brave man. He ended segregation and brought peace to the earth. Things would be a whole lot different right now if it wernt for him. Its a shame that he died. Mr.King made a vary inspiring speech that brought everyone together. Mr.Kings character was good, he was a great person and vary smart and always gave a great speech.

Dr.kings idea of the american dream is that every man/woman should be treated equally whether they are white or colored and that america should have first-class, and not its second-class citizens of today.
What`s stopping us is people don`t changeas easy as others, and that some people are too stubborn or they don`t want to change.

The American Dream
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very good man that fought for black rights.When Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was 15 he graduated from school. He was one of the most children to graduate from a young age.

Martin Luther king Jr. was a man who followed his dreams an fought for a full citizenship for African Americans, and for rights for the poor and disadvantaged. He believed in his dreams for better rights.
The American dream was about for everyone to get freedom black,white all men to get freedom. Treat people with respect no matter what color their skin is.

Dr.King
Martin Luther King Jr. was unfortunately shot in the chest while he was standing on the balcony of his motel room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. but before that unfortunate accident Dr.King was an amazing man that made a lot of changes in his short lifetime. he made such an effort to make changes in civil rights that he was sent to jail more than 20 times. Dr.King was loved by many, but also hated by many. One day while Dr.King was out giving a speech an explosive bomb was planted under the porch of his house. severe damage was done.
When Dr.King thought of an American dream he imagined everyone could live together as equals. in Martins words he described it as "We hold these truths to be self-evident,that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life,liberty,and the pursuit of happiness.
I think america had a hard time pursuing the american dream because of course not everyone was going to accept change. some people would have been perfectly ifne with the way things were before. But like any form of change, theres going to be people who are against it.
In order to make the drea a reality we must all view the world as a place where we all survive together, as one.

Dr. King thought the dream was "that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." That we will notice amazing universalism. This does not say some men or just white men it say all men no matter what religion or what skin color.
America achieving this dream is hard when they do something different then what they say. America needs to work towards the dream inch by inch if they do not, then what chance at the dream do we have? The dream is only fulfilled when we worked at it together.
If America remains a first-class nation then we should not have second-class citizens. For this dream to happen America needs to come together and forget the difference in skin color.
Color does not matter it's the way the person treats others. The future dream for America should be to become one nation and treat all as we are family and become more civilized.
